Erdogan Has No Foreign Policy, Only Internal Policy!

Turkey Politics

In some countries, politicians make politics only to win the next election! What it takes to win the next election is the same all over the world: “Responding to the demands and needs of the people”

So what are the demands and needs of the public?

Actually, what are demands and needs?

Could the human need be anything other than the order in Maslow’s hierarchy pyramid? Does the demand come from human nature, or can it be learned later, or can it be politely imposed?

If you are not educated enough, your needs will be also imposed from the politicians as the capital system is doing in economic activities! In other words, you pursue what is offered to you as your needs, not your real requirements.

Turkey is experiencing one of the most extreme examples of this policy in recent years. Society is pursuing the need it perceives, not its real need.

Of course, the Turkish people have many important problems such as unemployment, justice, economy, environment, health and social justice. Erdogan government, however, find it very costly to meet these needs and instead, they teach the public “their demands”. It does this sometimes with the chauvinist style in the news bulletins of the media, which has been completely taken over, and sometimes with the series of history that contain heavy propaganda and do not reflect the truth. They inject the painful rules of propaganda deeply into society..

Here, as a result of this policy, in recent years in Turkey, people’s “perceived” demand has occurred. Instead of the most important real needs, such as the economy, society or justice, the wanted demand in every household in Turkey is “national pride” or “imperial spirit”.

Since the first years of the Republic, history books at schools have told heroic stories, not the bitter facts to be learned. After the collapse of the Ottoman Empire while establishing the Republic of Turkey, a healthy modern transformation and the memory work were not done. The great Ottoman remained in the minds of the Turkish people, but why the Ottoman collapsed, no answer was sought.

The Erdogan regime discovered this bugs of society very well and started to inject pleasure into the “great Ottoman” consciousness of the society. it was really difficult to grow the economy or to civilize the state but ensuring that citizens think “Turkey is too big” is less costly and easier.

For this reason, the regime imposed a demand for “greatness and heroism” on the people. As a result, Erdogan supporters applauded the government, which provided the mask aid for the Corona virus to the United States, Spain and United Kingdom, although Turkey is poor!

Last week, a Turkish citizen living in Switzerland, was brought to Turkey by a ambulance plane due to corona virus and the society liked it too.

As a result of this propaganda an important part of the Turkish people supports Erdogan regime because “The big Turkey” come every evening to their homes by television screen.

Perspicaciously!

An ambulance must go to every sick citizen to win an election in the real world. But in post-truth times, in Turkey, to send an ambulance only to one patient from Switzerland (Europe) was much cheaper. So people see how Turkey is managed better than European countries.

A very effective but low cost election investment! Small touches to the erogenous zones of the subconscious of society are very pragmatic! Big savings in terms of the country’s economy!!

So where is the money that should be in the state’s safe with this savings?

Do not ask this, asking it a crime in Turkey!
